Světlo jako fenomén

The aim of this project was to create an overall concept associated with light, where the main intention was not only to create a traditional light fixture, but rather to design an experience associated with light. We focused on interactivity, atmosphere and the impact of light in space. The aim of my work is to analyze the emotions of individuals living in war zones, especially those who are against the conflict but find themselves in a situation where they cannot leave the area. They are imprisoned here, for example, for financial or situational reasons.
The work tries to capture the feeling of helplessness and depict it as a glass shell trying to break through metal bars. At the same time, it emphasizes that the only source of hope is the light that comes out and symbolizes the end of suffering. The physical confinement of individuals is metaphorically expressed by concrete with roxors, which refers to the destruction of bombed cities. The elements connected in this way create a strong visual and emotional expression, which is intended to appeal to the observers in such a way that they empathize with such an unimaginable position for us.
